A FEBUS expert in the CIGRE Working Group

Proud moment for our team!

We are delighted to announce that Sylvio Rakotoarivony (FEBUS Optics’ Numerical Modeling Engineer) has been selected by CIGRE to join the international Working Group dedicated to thermal monitoring.

As an expert in cable monitoring using Distributed Fiber Optic Sensing—with strong expertise in DAS and DTS—Sylvio will proudly represent France within this working group.

Over the next two years, he will collaborate closely with international experts to address the new challenges in thermal monitoring. His deep knowledge of Real-Time Thermal Rating (RTTR) will undoubtedly bring strong value to the group’s work.

Congratulations to Sylvio on this well-deserved recognition!
