DAS, DSS & DTS on a LSU test well

Last week, Aurélien Cherubini (PhD. in Petrophysics & Reservoir Characterization, Technical Lead Well monitoring) and Maxime Vernier (Business Developer North America) were in Louisiana.

They used the FEBUS A1-R (DAS) and the FEBUS G1-R (DSS and DTS) in a test well in at scale 1:1 in Louisiana State University (LSU) facilities to monitor in real-time:

👉 bullheading by pumping an influx back,

👉 gas migration in the wellbore.

Event tracking was ensured by using FEBUS Optics real-time visualization software FOWell Suite, under the supervision of profesor Jyotsna Sharma (PhD.).
