On Thursday, September 18, FEBUS Optics marked a major milestone in its history by inaugurating its new headquarters, located in the Zone Europa in Pau. More than 100 guests gathered for this landmark event, a symbol of the companys' ongoing growth. Already established on this site since 2019 through its test center (Centre d'Essais Sophie Germain - CESG), FEBUS Optics thus reaffirms its local roots and its commitment to continued expansion in the heart of the Béarn region.
The official ceremony was attended by several institutional figures: Mr. Jean-Jacques Lasserre, President of the Conseil Départemental; Mr. Philippe Faure, Vice-President of the Communauté d'Agglomération Pau Béarn Pyrénées in charge of digital affairs, representing Mr. François Bayrou; and Ms. Joëlle Gras, Sous-Préfète of the Pyrénées-Atlantiques. Through their speeches, all praised the dynamism and innovation driven by FEBUS Optics, previously housed within the Hélioparc technology park.

Following a bilingual speech by the founders, delivered in French and English to an international audience celebrating FEBUS Optics' success, the sunny afternoon featured live demonstrations of the company's cutting-edge solutions: seismic imaging of the subsurface, geothermal well temperature monitoring, pipeline leak detection, third-party activity detection on buried networks, and perimeter security. Many applications made possible by FEBUS Optics' patented distributed fiber optic sensing technologies, which have earned the company its reputation. These demonstrations enabled guests to directly assess the company's expertise and innovative capabilities.

This inauguration comes in a symbolic year for FEBUS Optics, which celebrated its 10th anniversary in May. With 60 employees spread across Pau, Paris, Houston, Dubai, and Kuala Lumpur, the company boasts remarkable growth: a 40% increase in revenue over the past six years, with 75% generated internationally. Despite its global reach, FEBUS Optics proudly maintains its strong ties to Pau and the surrounding region. "We belong to a dynamic territory to which we are deeply attached: Pau and its region, where we entirely design and manufacture our solutions", emphasized Vincent Lanticq, co-founder and CTO.

A closing evening in the unique setting of the Château de Pau
The day concluded with and exceptional evening party at the magnificent "salle des 100 couverts" of the Château de Pau, decorated with Renaissance era tapestries and offering guests a breathtaking view of the Pyrénées. This convivial moment extended the exchanges in a warm atmosphere, wrapping up an inauguration widely day praised for the quality of the demonstrations and the unwavering dedication of the FEBUS Optics' teams.
