JOB DESCRIPTION
As part of its rapid growth, FEBUS has now a fully owned entity in the USA, FEBUS Inc. This entity has been created to manage all business development in North, Central and South America. To accelerate the development, we are looking for a Sales Engineer in this region to contribute to the expansion of this new entity.
The main responsibilities of the Sales Engineer will be to:
- Seek new sales opportunities across the assigned region in various markets related to DFOS applications;
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintaining and developing strong relationships with existing customers;
- Market Analysis: Study market trends to adjust sales strategies;
- Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and sales terms with customers;
- Reporting: Monitor and analyze sales performance and report regularly to management;
- Attend or participate in conferences and workshops (travel required, ~10-15% of time);
- Interacting with our teams in France.
He/She will be strongly involved in strategic decisions regarding sales and operations in the Americas region.
FEBUS main markets in the north America are wells and universities, with a secondary focus on pipeline, cable, and Perimeter Intrusion Detection and structural health monitoring.

REQUIRED SKILLS
- Expertise in business development for technical products and/or solutions
- Management skills, excellent verbal skills
- Experience in distributed fiber sensing business is an advantage
- Excellent understanding of sales and negotiation techniques
- Analytical skills to interpret sales data and market trends
- Experience in sales and/or business development
- Experience in fiber-optic sensing and/or one of FEBUS’s main markets listed above will be considered an asset
- Knowledge of CRM tools to manage customer interactions
- Language:
- Mandatory: English
- Secondary: Spanish and French (advantageous but not required)
