Vincent completed his Ph.D. at TelecomParistech and his Engineer studies at Institut d’Optique Graduate School in Paris. His research interests were focused on nonlinear optics and distributed optical fiber sensing.
He attended several international conferences as a speeker and published several scientific articles in journals such as Measurement Science and technology or Optics Letters. He was the instructor for IUT students on topics in optical sensing technology.
Before creating Febus Optics in 2015, Vincent entered the sensors industry en 2009 with CEMENTYS for 5 years. In this small-size company, Vincent started to develop sensing solutions and managed a technical team that grew from 2 people in 2010 to 10 people in 2014. He left in 2014 with the aim of designing the first technical drawings of FEBUS-G1 system.
Vincent is the proud and obsessed father of a son and a daughter. In addition of that all-encompassing-change, Vincent enjoys playing tennis and accordion.
With a Master’s degree in Optical Physics, Etienne has first worked as an R&D scientist during 5 years of which 2 were in the United States.
He then took a turn for entrepreneurship, he founded and lead a start-up in chemistry for 4 years to make it a 10 people company with a growing revenue. He was at the same time the sales director and the financial and administrative director.
Excellent administrator and negotiator, he has a quick technical understanding that he places at the service of his commercial qualities. His communicating skills and his various professional experiences make him versatile and well fitted for the management of FEBUS OPTICS with V.Lanticq.
