A complete monitoring solution of dynamic cables

FEBUS Optics develops a complete monitoring solution of dynamic cables on offshore assets such as floating wind turbines based on our distributed fiber optic sensing technology.

Thanks to our FEBUS A1 (DAS – Distributed Acoustic Sensing), we are able to detect and precisely localize strain on dynamic cables. Then, the data can be correlated to the fatigue of the cables over their lifetime.

FEBUS Optics offers a complete cable monitoring solution with the detection and the localization of

✔️ Thermal events (hot spots, overloads via RTTR)

✔️ Mechanical events (defaults, free spans)

✔️ Electrical events (partial discharges)

Our solution is easy to integrate to any supervisor system and we also provide maintenance and support.
