DAS, DTS: monitoring of a karstic cavity

FEBUS Optics with the collaboration of Institut Terre et Environnement de Strasbourg (ITES), Ecole et Observatoire des Sciences de la Terre (EOST) and the THETA Observatory (Besançon) installed a DAS system for the monitoring of the karstic cavity of En-Versenne, located in Fontenotte (Doubs, France).

Associated with other instrumentations (DTS, seismological nodes of DENSAR and flow sensors), the 3-weeks DAS acquisition will enable the monitoring of the aquifer and the origin of flooding events in the cavity.
