FEBUS just finished a projected monitoring of a damaged concrete bridge.
Thanks to our FEBUS A1 and its state-of-the-art sensitivity, we have been able to monitor in real time the displacement and modal behavior of the structure during its regular operating condition.
The test showed the potential of using DAS to monitor displacement of any structure, along with its possibilities of vibration sensing, and released full interest of DAS in the monitoring of any structure. This reduced significantly the CAPEX of the auscultation of the structure by using the same interrogator and instrumentation to every need in monitoring (static displacement and vibration behavior). Having mastered the auscultation of this viaduct, allowed to win the full activity of monitoring of the entire motorway.
